Chocolates, chocolates, who love chocolates? I do! If dogs are man’s best friends, then could it be true that chocolates are woman’s? Or is it American’s? Did you know that each American eats an approximate of 12 pounds chocolate every year? That’s quite a lot, right?
Chocolates are made from cacao beans that were roasted, shelled, and ground into a paste. This paste is mixed with sugar and cooked at high temperature to be the sweet, brown (or sometimes white) luscious thing we find hard to resist.
There are lots of chocolates in everything that we eat– cookies, cakes, ice cream, oats, and even in our drinks. They make our daily meals more enjoyable and they provide us with additional perkiness too. But if you are on a diet, you may have been depriving yourself of these wonderfully sinful treats. I have great news, you don’t have to suffer anymore!
There are actually some great ways for you to enjoy these sweet treats even if you are trying to lose weight. First, Medifast offers chocolate bars (chocolate crunch or chocolate mint flavors) that you may eat without the guilty feeling (as long as you don’t finish the whole box!). Another great way is to drink the Medifast Hot Cocoa. Who said a dieter’s breakfast should be boring and bland? It’s Kosher rated and it’s soy-free. It is also low in lactose. You can now enjoy ultimate satisfaction of having a coco drink on a cold day without having to worry about gaining a pound!
